The West Virginia Medical Professionals Health Program, WVMPHP, is committed to the safety of the public by promoting the physical and mental well-being of West Virginia healthcare providers. We achieve these goals through early detection of potential problems, interventions, assisting the healthcare professional in seeking qualified evaluation and/or treatment, long-term monitoring and advocacy with regulatory agencies.
The West Virginia Coalition for Quality Health Care is a grant funded, physician-driven organization dedicated to exploring clinical variation and improving health care in West Virginia.
The official federal Medicare website, with useful information for people with Medicare and anyone involved in helping them with their health care decisions.
Supporting some goals and selected projects of the WV Chapter AAFP, developing and providing philanthropic resources for the promotion and support of the specialty of Family Practice, and bringing together Family Practice organizations to coordinate activities and maximize resources.
AccessWV is a health plan created by West Virginia statute to provide health insurance to West Virginians who have been unable to find or who have been denied health insurance in the private market because of a medical condition.
